pro or not? Hey, I downloaded the free basic version and it is so slow, and no downloads ever get completed... So I bought Pro, and downloaded it. I have stuffit expander, OS X, and downloaded it off of explorer. But the icon for limewire installation does not say pro, and does nothing when i open it. But the orginal installer is on my desktop. Is pro any different. I don't understand. Shouldn't it say pro, and when I install it shouldn't it be different than basic? If so, what is different, is it any faster? Or is it just pop up free...which basic for me didn't have any pop ups anyway. Should i have bought pro? What should the new download say? Cause I feel like I just keep installing the same thing again. If anyone has any clue on whats going on, please let me know! :O) Thank you! |

Look at "About LimeWire"--it should say Pro there. You'll not see much difference between the free and the pro, but you'll know you're helping the project. You are also entitled to free email support as a Pro user, but I've found the help here to be far better. Cheers. btw--check your firewall (and router if you use one) to allow Gnutella/LimeWire on port 6346 if you want to share and get better results. |
