![]() After doing the battery of OS X system updates, Limewire no longer launched. The icon bouned on the dock, then nothing else happened. My Uninstall also failed, so I simply deleted the Limewire folders on my drive. I downloaded the latest installer, and am getting the same behavior. Is there a known incompatibilty that I am bumping into? I found the following in my logs (and can provide more, if needed): Command: LimeWire_Installer PID: 517 Exception: EXC_BREAKPOINT (0x0006) Code[0]: 0x00000001Code[1]: 0x8fe01280 Manually removing the Preferences files does not make a difference. Thanks! |

![]() There is a reported incompatibility with java on occasions (search for posts by "jum"), but I'm not sure if yours is the same one. Did you also find a JavaNativeCrash_pid*.log as well as the LimeWire.crash.log? Usually a safe boot/repair permissions works to get me running on a G3 iBook (especially after going through a number of Software Updates), but only rarely do I find reinstalling java worth a try. sounds silly, but try trashing the dock icon and making a new one (Would be nice if this would be the fix!) |
