Default How do I install limewire??

Please help me out...I just bought limewire pro and when i went to download and install it, a text file comes up and that is it. i don't know where to go from there or what else to do. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out.

Did you download the one that says "MacOSX(English)"? That one should work.

[edit]. . . but not in this case! Internet Explorer sometimes opens the .dmg file as text, so just do as et voilà says below (control-click the link and choose "Download Link to Disk")

Angry I agree. I am having exactly the same problem

I am having exactly the same problem. I DID click on the English MacX download button. I also tried copying and pasting both addresses into IE instead of from within AOL and that didn't work either. I explained all this to the support desk in an e-mail and haven't gotten a response yet......

Control click on the download link and save target as.... to the directory you want.

I just paid for & downloaded Limewire all I got was a lot of code!!!now what do I do,

Killraven, read my reply above. The REAL problem is that you all use ooutdated browsers! If you have 10.2 jaguar get apple safari, others get mozilla (mozilla.org) instead of the SLOW internet explorer.

its says my lime wire pro will be sent to me. Is this true, because I have a mac and thought I could just pay for it and download it. Please reply w/ answer

If you can't get the Pro Support email service to respond, go to http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...pportpro.shtml and use your email address to get a pro download page.
