I downloaded limewire pro and I see no difference from the free version? no icon that indicates I have the pro version or anything? everytime I try to download a song it just says need more sourses, I click find sources button but nothing ? I also can't seem to browse any hosts ? All of this worked beautifully for a couple of days after I downloaded the first time. But now I am lucky to get one song out of 20. Whats up?

Technically there is no difference, you have a version without ads.

FWIW, http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml is advertising that there is more of a difference recently than the usual one about ads. I haven't tried the free for a while, but don't see much difference between the CVS and the Pro versions--they both are improved. I can't read code so I wouldn't know how to compare the technical differences.

It seems that Limewire Pro nodes prefer now other Pro nodes - this is the only way how they can reach it. But I don´t think this will is such a big difference - the main part of the Gnutella net is non Limewire Pro, like Shareaza, Limewire Basic, Bearshare, Phex, etc.
