heeeelllp limewire freezes my comp
 

heres the problem:

limewire works great for a few minutes. then it freezes and i have to force quit, and its a pain in the ***. any idea why it does this?? anyone?

There are times when hashing new files, and establishing new connections is very processor intensive. I'll give LW a few minutes to settle down. If that doesn't work, maybe you're being hit by one of the Apple/Java/Panther/QT problems.

The next time that happens, open Utilities->Console and see if it logs some error message to help you troubleshoot.
