Unable to install 3.6.15 in Jaguar
 

When I run the installer I get a message that says "There were errors installing the software".

the installing indicator bar only moves a tiny bit then suddenly this message appears.

I have Mac OS X 10.2.8 and I'm trying to install Limewire 3.6.15.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this problem?

ok, I found one possible solution to get around the installation problem.
I went to this web directory:
http://www3.limewire.com/download/

And there I found a .dmg file for version 3.6.8.
The installer .pkg for this version works.
So, maybe there is a bug in the .pkg file for 3.6.15.

If you are new to downloading such files be sure to hold down your option key when you click on the file.
