Default A connection error has ocurred?

When I try to download the installer, I click on it, a new screen opens, the computer looks like it's "thinking" for a bit, then I get the message "a connection error has ocurred." I have no clue why this is happening. Does anyone have any suggestions?

OK--I retried and downloaded the free from here http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...dfreemg.shtml, which redirected to http://download.com.com/3001-2179-10292555.html

No problem with Safari and OS X 10.3.4--downloaded just fine.

Default still having trouble

I really appreciate your help, I am getting very frustrated. It still doesn't work. It's like my computer can't go to the site to download. I tried to go straight to download.com doesn't work. Then I use a google search to try to download it from another site, and the computer just won't go. It'll go to any site, but when I try to go to download.com, or I try to get the installer, a new page opens, it thinks for awhile, and then it says a connection failure has occured. But it's just for this site. Is there some sort of security I might have on that's causeing this. i really want to get limewire.

hmm--all I can think of is Safari's Empty Cache command, and clear any old downloads from the desktop.

If that doesn't work, http://www3.limewire.com/download/ has a copy of the OSX.dmg.
