Unhappy LW crashes on launching

hey guys, I'm looking for help. One month ago I had an old version of LW and it was just working fine, then I updated it to the 4.0.5. And since then it crashed each time I launched it. A few days ago I formated my Mac and installed a new system. I am running OS X 10.3.4 with all updates on a 12" G4 800mhz Ibook 512Mo. I still have the same problem. Here is the info in the console :
Installing LimeWire 4.0.5. Java version is:
java version "1.4.2_03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_03-117.1)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2-34, mixed mode)
sw_vers is:
ProductName: Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.3.4
BuildVersion: 7H63
Copying /Volumes/LimeWire/Install LimeWire.app/Contents/Resources/Install LimeWire.pkg to /tmp/LimeInstallation/467

Checking for BSD
Checking for not 10.1
Copying license and readme in /tmp/LimeInstallation/467/Install LimeWire.pkg/Contents/Resources.
cp: /tmp/LimeInstallation/467/Install LimeWire.pkg/Contents/Resources/ls_license_osx.txt: No such file or directory

stief has a spectacular aura about
Default

delete all "lime" stuff everywhere (including stuff in the Library), do a safe boot/repair permissions (details here); restart normally and download a new copy.

For some reason java has to get a workout or two on a fresh Panther install before it runs smoothly.

Default Cool

Thank you so much, it worked
I deleted all lime stuff, boot in safe mode and used Onyx to repair the permissions.
