Mac OSX Hi - Feel like a dope here and am a new Mac guy but i have an EXE for Limewire pro I downloaded and when i try and open it my Virex pops up and that's all I can do. It just lets me scan it. What i want to do is install limewire pro and when i double click the EXE from MAC desktop Virex runs and that's it. any help would be appreciated. |

You've dwnlded the wrong platform version. All .exe apps are for Windows pc. You'll have to go back & dwnld the mac version Free or the Pro version for Mac OSX. THIS will show you what you get with Pro. Last edited by Lord of the Rings; July 21st, 2004 at 02:50 PM. |

Pro Version Thanks Lord of the Rings! I have another question. I bought the pro version and then mistakenly downloaded the .EXE as you see from my previous post. I went to support and typed in my email to locate my record to download the new version of pro for the right OS and was not recognized as a purchaser. So ... I don't think I have a record of the purchase. I tried muliple emails just make sure but none are recognized as the purchasing email. any suggestions here? I want to run pro, paid for it, dowloaded the wrong version and now seem to be stuck. any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
