Duplicates in search

as we all know when we do a search we get many duplicate hits. Is there any way ( script) to limit search to one hit per title.?

truly duplicate hits are already organized under one name in the search column.

If the same title shows up many times, it's not truly duplicate (there may only be one byte of difference, but it is still considered "different").
