![]() I use Lime Wire Pro. I get an Error Message everytime I'm connected : " a firewall is blocking limewire from accessing the interent..." Although I check the system prefrences> Firewall> New> firewall is being added. I tried also pop messages, and all sort of things. But I keep getting the error messae. Note that I'm running OSX 10.3.5 Please Help me solve this dilema. Thanx |

![]() Check for a bug report by going to LW's Prefs-Bug Report & click for an example. In the window that appears scroll down (about half way down) to the part that says: "Recieved incoming this session". If it says ‘True’ then LW has no problem with firewalls, but if 'False' it does have a prob. See eg in link (eg is for pc but same principle): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...765#post103765 Tell us what yur result is True or False? Wht type of connection do you have? Do you have a router? Where are you trying to connect from: home, school, work, other institution? |
