Cant Download LimeWire

I was using LimeWire, and then deleted part of the Program by accident. So I tried to download LimeWire Basic again, and when I click "Download" the blue bar at the bottom of the page looks like it's downloading, but when it gets to the end, no LimeWire file appears on my desktop. What can I do to fix this problem? Why cant I download LimeWire now?

Thanks

You may already have a copy on your desktop but don't realise it. I don't know which browser you're using, but change the downld location. Locate it somewhere where it's easy to find. You could always have an alias to that folder on your desktop or dock.

still not working

Thanks for the suggestions... However, 1) Everything always downloads to my desktop, and LimeWire isn't showing up there, and 2) When I run a search on my computer for LimeWire it isn't showing up there either, so I feel like it really isn't downloading at all...

Any other suggestions?

Thanks so much
J

OS9 & earlier was one thing but I don't think it's necessarily a great idea to dwnld it to the desktop.
2. How are you looking for it. Don't tell me you're opening Go To Computer. Because it definitely won't show up there. Not unless it's a mounted disk image or hdd/partition. You're doing a search through partitions & hard DD's yet none of those are catered for in the search function the way you have it set up correct? Hide all your windows or close them all & have another look manually.

If necessary click on the desktop icon at the top left of column in one of your windows View your desktop in List mode & you'll know one way or another.

Tell me if you still can't find it & I'll think of another alternative.

Still Nothing!

Thanks for all of your help, but I'm still having no luck. (I was also a little confused by some of the instructions in your last email). I tried changing the download location, but all that happened was that it "loaded" according to the screen on explorer, but still never actually showed up anywere...

Any final suggestions?
