Does the LW application have to be running in order fro others to upload music files?:confused:

yes I believe so, but you can run it in the background, while you work in other applications. I would suggest that you not run other p2p applications at the same time. They have a tendcy to interfere with one another and slow the machine down.

Hello, ken47 welcome to the forums!

p2p stands for Peer to Peer. A peer to peer application is just like LimeWire where you can share and download music files. I hope this helps.
