Help Mounting OS 10.3 from .dmg files
 

Have 10.3 on my new iMac G5 and want to get it on my G3 laptop (currently 10.2). Can't use installation discs that came w/iMac. Have downloaded D1, D2, D3 from LW to laptop and want to mount and install on laptop. Can someone advise?

You should be careful. I think there's different OS installation disks for different types of mac. Your laptop may require a different version of installation disk specific to laptops. I know this was always the case in the past. You should ask your local apple support technician for advice 1st. By the way, please read Forum Rules (click here) re: wares!!!
