LW not mounting to OSX
 

trying to download LW to OSX using safari. Saying it can't 'mount' LW. Have tried suggestions from other threads, no luck.
V. new user of mac so don't know terminology yet can someone help me using basic lang.???:)

I had the exact same problem!
I don't know what was wrong or why this worked, but I found a way to get it installed. I simply downloaded it from this page:
http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/

The version suggested is a beta version. I'd suggest you clean out history & cache from safari & not browse whilst it's downlding.
