can't install limewirepro on osx?

can't install copy of limewire pro 4.8.1,when it comes time to select the destination volume a message is thrown up saying"You cannot install this software on this volume.(null)"
Does anyone have any idea about what could be going on here,i would love to be using this programme!

Have you previously had LW on your computer?

You get the "null" message when OS X thinks a more recent version is installed. Double-click the harddrive icon, open the Library, open the Receipts folder, then find the file: Install LimeWire.pkg, delete it and try again.
