limewire 4.9.29 osx frezzing when downloading
 

so i am running osx 10.4.2 with limwwire4.9.29 and everytime a file is completed the limewire window frezzes,causing me to force quit the application,then restart limewire. So can this probblem be fixxed,if so then how, any help is much appreciated.:mad

If you leave LW running for a long time with OS 10.3, the virtual memory can climb and lw responsiveness gets very slow.

We've been hoping Apple will fixthis for a long time, but I've stopped waiting.

Here are some workarounds that might help:

quit LW every few days, shutdown the machine for 2 minutes to clear the memory, restart holding down the shift key, and restart again.

make more room on the hard drive (try to keep 10% free).
