Unhappy

I have the same problem, I can't download LW, it always fail mounting after few minuts, the dowload is not even finish - only about 1MB loaded-, I suppose that's the reason ! I try the download on iMac 10.3.9 with Safari 1.3.1 and Opera 8.5 with Firewall actived and not actived, I try also the download on iBook 10.3.2 with Safari 1.1.1: same !
I already submit this trouble here few month ago but never get any answer !

Don't download dmg files using internet Explorer. Most advised is to use Safari. Update your Safari. Open Disk Copy & go to preferences & turn verification off. And drag & drop the downlded file onto Disk Copy.

Other Disk Copy solutions: No Mountable File Systems (Error 95): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=29131

Another alternative, I don't know if this will still work or whether I should sugget it as it was something a proggie suggested to me a day or 2 ago as a trial. Open Terminal & copy & paste the following in & press enter (BTW your Terminal is found in your Utilities folder):

curl -L -o LimeWire.dmg "http://www.limewire.com/LimeWireSoftOSX"

This probably shouldn't be used all the time if it does work. I don't think they want their bandwidth taken up.

Thank for u reply. i will try your " Solution".
BTW, don't upgrade le latest update of QuickTime if u want continue using LW. It wont launch anymore and u 'll have to desintall it for the previous QT 7.0.1. The Resinstall QT 7.0.1 is 20.3MB ! (Thanks to Apple for the time spend online for updating and desinstall them after because Bugs ! )
