![]() I'm not an expert in obtaining programmes off Limewire, but the normal type of programme file for OSX is a dmg file. There are piles of files on the network labelled zip and many of these are very small and filled with viruses that can damage a pc but will probably do nothing atall on a Mac. It is true that some OSX programmes come as Zip files, but the number of infected Zip files on the Gnutella(Limewire) Network is staggering. This might help answer your question a bit. A polite suggestion is also that you read the forum rules about the mentioning of copyright materials and word future queries accordingly ![]() |
