limewire for new macs
 

hello i just bought the new macbook and im trying to dl limewire but for some reason it wont work. the installation completes, but then when i try and double click the install limewire icon from the downloads menu it says that safari cannot complete the operation. so i tried clicking on the .dmg file on the desktop, but that does nothing either. what should i do? thanks.

Perhaps delete it & re-download it using Safari. Have you repaired permissions lately? ie: Reboot in safe mode by holding down the SHIFT key until you see the safe boot option. Once fully started, go to Utilities folder, open Disky Utility & repair permissions. Then reboot normally. This is recommended after installing new software or updates, etc. Let us know how you get on. ;)
