 Limewire Troubles I have been trying for over a year to connect to Limwire through my current internet connection, and I have not once been successful. I have a iMac G5, OSX Tiger(10.4), NOT intel, with a NETGEAR router, which I think may be my main problem. Limewire says it detects a firewall(planet with a brick wall behind it), and I am assuming that it is referring to an internal firewall of the NETGEAR router. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appretiated. *In the Limewire troubleshooting directory mentioning how to let Limewire run by configuring the OSX firewall, It says to pull the dropdown menu to Gnutella/ Limwire - I have no such option, and I have no idea what numbers to put in when I choose "other" and it asks for the TCP port numbers, and the other ones. ~ Lord Falcon  |
