Default Install Help, Won't Open

I went through the whole installation process, and at the end it said that Limewire was successfully installed. But when I went to click on the icon to open up the program, it took me back to the installer window. What should I do in this situation? I have the newest version of MacOS X and Lime Wire.

The same happened to me as to popupdoll13. I have the newest version on Mac and LW, was able to install it successfully, but despite having followed all firewall instructions it still won't connect. I've used LW a lot many years ago and was fascinated by it and always bought all updates. I'm ready to share my files with the community so please someone help me out there. Thanks. Camote 73

After you install the program, you should drag & drop the dmg disk image into the trash to unmount it. Then use the Go menu to get to Applications folder, then find LW. Then open the folder & drag & drop the program icon into the dock. Then click on the LW icon in dock to open.

Sorry for my late reply.

Everybody else we need more details please: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link). The 3 of you have different problems.
