Download questions from newbie

I have just joined the forum but have used Limewire for a while, although not for the last couple of years. When I used it before, I found it very easy to download what I needed, but now all I seem to find is files called 'crack' - or when I download the file is .exe. Why has it all changed as seems very hard to find my way around as before it was no problem. Appreciate any insight on this.

Remember you can always filter out certain words in searches using your Keyword filter in preferences.

Most Mac files will have some mention of 'OSX' or 'Mac' in their title.
