Default Try this Installer fix for OS X...

Drag the installer app to your OS X desktop. Now launch it.

I was unsuccessful before I tried this because I was trying to install from another volume, not within my user directory.

What are you referring to the OSX desktop. When my version is downloaded onto my computer it is downloaded automatically to my desktop and when i unstuff the file i get an installer application and i try to run it. It does not work in the desktop. Is there another location for the OSX desktop?

Hmmm...

I download to a folder, to reduce clutter on the desktop. My problem was, I wouldn't get an installer from the unstuffed download-just a folder with the components that should have combined to make the installer. I put a screenshot of this folder in another post. Sounds you have another issue going on.

Default OS X Limewire

Try putting it in your user file and launching it. If that doesn't work maybe you need to update your Java version. Check through software updates.

Still doesn't work? Check these forums for more answers.

Default Installation problems may be stuffits fault

If you are getting a folder instead of an icon of Limewire try changing the .sit to .zip and then unstuffing it. This problem has to do with stuffit not your computer. If this doesn't work try another decompression program. None come to mind right now but www.versiontracker.com should have more choices with the proper search.
