Default I screwed something up...

I've had Limewire for several years now..

today i was cleaning out one of the folders that contain my music files and I think I may have deleted a file that I needed b/c now Limewire will not load.

I decided to delete Limewire completely and redownload the program.

Now when Limewire is loading I get the message:

"your save folder is not valid. it may have been deleted, you may not have permission to write to it, or there may be another problem. Please choose a different folder."

Now what do I do?

Help.

Thanks.

Go to the Options and either select a new Save folder, or navigate to the old one (if it still exists).

I don't think I can even do that...

The actual program does not open...

the box that says LIMEWIRE 4.12 is loading comes up when you first launch it...

and immediately it posts the ABOVE message from my first post.

It gives me the option to navigate through the LIMEWIRE files and choose the new folder as the messages states...

I can click on a JAVA folder, a roots folder, etc...

BUT NOTHING WORKS!

What happened?? What did I do?

When in the nav dialog, try command-shift-H to get to the default location, and then either choose the old folder, or use the "Create Folder" button.

Does that work?
