what is the deal here? I am running a Mac OS 9.2.1. When I download Limewire...I get a message saying that it was a successful installation, but with small errors. The Limewire will not connect and I have tried re-downloading and re-starting my computer many times. When I look in the installation log, it says there's an error with the translatorSettings class, but I have no idea what that means. Please help me here. Kate |

and despite this LW seems to working fine... Post more details about the error, probably an user more knowledgeable than me might be able to help you. Best to you knight |
nonfatal errors I am having the same problem (see Limewire will not work post). I've tried all I can. Isn't there someone out there who can help? |
I get 2 non-fatal errors in the install log, but it doesn't appear to affect the operation of LW. Try going to Tools>Options>Connections and type in the addresses below, then select File>Connect. If that doesn't work, close and then restart Limewire. Failing that, go to the Connections window in LW and type the addresses in there. Keep trying until you get a stable connection. router.limewire.com public.bearshare.net connect1.bearshare.net connect2.bearshare.net connect3.bearshare.net connect1.gnutellanet.com connect2.gnutellanet.com connect3.gnutellanet.com connect4.gnutellanet.com connect5.gnutellanet.com connect6.gnutellanet.com connect7.gnutellanet.com gnet2.ath.cx gnotella.fileflash.com gnet2.ath.cx |
