corrupt installer

whenever i try to download any version of limewire, a message error pops up that says:

the installer is corrupt. the zip archive contained in this application is corrupt. please contact the company who created this installer for a new copy.
Can anyone help me? I'm from Italy. Thanks a lot.

corrupt installer

It's now 10/23/02, 7 days since you were advised of the corrupt installer issue, I just tried downloading the Pro installer (for the 6th time), the free installer, and the Beta installer. All 3 gave me the same message, there was a "minor" error trying to install this software. It says that LimeWire can still run, and to check the install log for the error. I've sent this error message to you 3 times on each version and I've received no response or reply from anyone about this. I am a paid Pro user and I would appreciate the "prompt technical service" responses that you promised at the time I purchased this program. I don't know what else I can do to elicit a response from anyone at LimeWire. I hate complaining, especially on a public forum, but enough is enough. I'm relieved to see I'm not the only user having these problems. Would someone please look into this corrupt installer issue and respond to all of us who are experiencing it and getting really tired of having to mess with this. Thanks for any help you decide to offer.

Confused

I have downloaded the newest version of Limewire 2.7 so many times I can't count. The first time it said I needed a Runtime for Java upgrade and that it would install it. It said it would restart and finish the install. WRONG. It never restarted. When I was sure it wasn't doing anything I restarted hoping it would start the install again. Nope. I ran the installer and it said preparing to install. Then the installer quit..... no limewire. I have a bunch of crap from the installer in my trash but no program. I tried to run the installer that it made in the trash but it gave me an error message about some zg....... .lib not opening. I moved all this stuff to every possible place on my computer. Still a no go. I checked the MRJ and made sure it was upgraded. I deleted everything about Limewire and downloaded it again. No go again. I did this several times with no luck, just junk in the trash. I am running system 9.2.2

What do I do now?

Make sure you have MRJ version 2.2.5 and download Macintosh No VM* of LimeWire. That should do it.
