Default Java problems

-Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main' must be pulic ............ yada yada yada

've been having this problem for the last 3 posted versions. I figured since they kept releasing versions that they must have found out about it and were trying to fix it. That'll teach me.

Me too. Running OS 9.1 And the installer deleted my old version of Limewire, so now I'm screwed, no music at all. I hope that the developers are reading this and doing something about it....

Hey me too! I installed the new version and it's telling me that stuff about the application's 'main' class. I don't know what the heck they are talking about, but I don't have my old version anymore either, so help! First they talk you into installing the new version because we are missing all kinds of features and then it doesn't work. Humph.

Angry Java problems installing 2.7 on Mac OS 9.2.1

Hey! Me three!

Same problem everyone else seems to be having. Particualrly irritating since 2.6 was running fine but insessant pop-up messages told me I "had to" upgrade to 2.7. The updater deleted my old version so I can't even "retro-grade". Is this all a scheme to get to go "Pro"?

Any suggestions?

We just fixed this in LimeWire 2.7.8. Apologies to everyone for the confusion.

Angry etrnal problem with this new and improved version....

... That I can't even download!

Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main' must be public and have a 'public static void main(String[])' method. (LAX)

I've kept getting that message all over and over again, even when I tried your simple trick ( to uninstall and reinstall... and uninstall.. and reinstall... and so on!) 7 or 8 times!

Is this a hoax to get us into buying the Version that you suggest on your banner???! Well, hey! If it works as well as the free upgraded one that you sooooo strongly advise us to download, you just lost a Client here!

And worst of all, it deleted the older version, and now : NO MUSIC AT ALL!!!

If this problem CAN NOT be fixed, where can we get a version that works???? even if we must downgrade to 2.6.3 ????!!!
