Question transfer from quicktime to itunes????

After I've downloaded music and launch them, some open into my itunes and some open into my quicktime player. I want to have them all open into my itunes so that I can arrange and burn them to cd. Why do some of the songs launch into quicktime? Can I somehow get those songs into my itunes?
PLEASE HELP!!!

Lightbulb

Open iTunes and click on Library under Source.
Open the folder(s) where your mp3 files are stored and drag them to the iTunes library window. Now they will all play from iTunes when it is active and you can burn to your heart's content.
