same problem i get the same..anyone know where i can get an older version of lime...that works.. email me at john_freeman@comcast.net thanks |

yep, the same. An older version of LW doesn't seem to work. I've already tried. Every time I try to install LW all the installer does is dump some files in the trash folder and then vanishes into thin air. There seem to be a few people with the same problem. Look at all the posts I did and you will find them. Isn't it time someone helped us? I thougt that this is what is forum is for. |

Yes that is what forums are for but we don't work for or with Limewire so don't get your knickers in a twist. Below is a message I got from Limewire regarding upgrading. Maybe your version is too old: Last December, we changed the way our application accessed the Gnutella network. ALL OLDER VERSIONS OF LIMEWIRE PRIOR TO 2.6 WILL NO LONGER CONNECT. You have the option of purchasing additional LimeWire Pro upgrades, or you can download the latest freeware version. |
