Hello!

The built in mediaplayer is not built in on the Macintosh version but that is just good since it is no good. Instead just click the launch button after you have downloaded a file and it will play in iTunes. Much better!

On the Limewire interface click LIBRARY & you should see the MP3 PLAYLIST. Click on your music folder in the library section on the left side of the interface. Highlight the song that you want to play, then click on TO PLAYLIST to add that song. Then click on the PlLAY button at the bottom right of the interface. If you can't see any of the above post which version of Limewire you are using & someone will be able to tell you if there is a Player with that version.

Hello!

He is using the Mac version of LW and there is no built in mediaplayer for the macversion. Instead if he wants to play a music file from his library then he has to highlight the file and click the Launch button and iTunes will open and play the file. But that is kind of uneccessary since iTunes will always store a file in its playlist once it has been played so you could just open iTunes and browse the playlist and see all the mp3 files that you have in your LW library. Atleast if you played them directly after you downloaded them.

Hi Joakim Agren, I am using the Mac version & I have the media player.

Hello!

If you have the built in mediaplayer then you must be using the Mac OSX version and not the Classical Mac OS version. If you are using the built in player then I would recommend you to use the Launch option instead since iTunes is a much better and more fun player to use.

Hello!

Sorry for mistaking you as a he.!

iTunes is a free player that is from Apple and that you can download from Apple's site for free:

You as a Classical Mac OS user should download the 2.0.4 version.

Hi Joakim,

Tried to download iTunes, but it's not possible because I have a 8 version of Mac os and it;s only available from 9 or higher...
Just downloaded "destiny media player" but it doesn't recognise the MP3 files.. any other suggestions?? Thanx

Hi Joakim Agren,

Your right it is Mac OSX I'm using. ITunes is cool, the best Player around. All the best - Jack :)
