installer is corrupt

When i launch the installer, it tells me that the zip archive contained in it es corrupt. I tried to download the 2.8.5 version and the 2.9, and it is the same with both. Could you plase help me.

What version of stuffit or you using? It should be 7.0.1 for OS 9.2.2.

Why are you downloading the .zip file?

Are you not using the Classical Mac OS version?

If you do then you have downloaded the wrong file download the .bin file instead that is for Classical Mac OS.

Only the Mac OSX version of the installer comes in .zip format compression.

Sorry, it still doesn't work! Have the same problem as fievel. I'm on OS 8.6.

U-110 have you tried all these methods:

-Downloaded the .bin file instead of .zip the bin file is the correct one for Classical Mac OS.

- Upgraded to latest version of Stuffit Expander for Classical Mac OS which is 7.0.1

- During the unpacking of the .bin file you have to manually from the desktop drop the LW file ontop of the Stuffit Expander alias icon on the desktop and it should then decompress the files. If that does not work then you have to try doing it from inside Stuffit. Just launch Stuffit Expander and decompress the LW file from the File menu.

-Maybe you have downloaded a corrupt copy just download the correct file once again from LW's site http://www.limewire.com and try to decompress that one instead by using the methods described above.
