Java problem Some body know what happen? I've got message from Software Update control panel, that I need to update some Java components. Since the Java was automatically upgraded, I can't upload the LimeWire. I make uninstall the LimeWire completely, and trying to reinstall LimeWire from new downloaded LimeWireMac.bin file, but Install file can't run and putting all files and folders in Trash. What's the problem and how to return to Java that was before updating? |
try follow link: ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Java/M....5_Install.bin drag into stuffitexpander if extract expand automaticly install it also drop the MRJ Enabler-extension in your extension folder also try to drop the whole MRJ Libraries-folder in your extension folder cause it may not install all files better restart try again the limewire installer |
Following your advice, I have reinstalled Java 2.2.5. Now all elementy are in the following order, namely: MRJ Enabler in Ext. Folder MRJ Libraries folder in Ext. Folder MRJ Cache folder in Application Support Folder All looks correctly, but the same result: During time extraction of LimeWire Installer, the Trash is filled with the following files: 1- InstallAnywhere SEA.log 2- IA JavaInstaller (delete) 38252 - folder 3- IA MRJInstaller (delete) 671088 - folder Also I have found in Preferences Folder one strange file named "MRJPluginAppletOutput" *which looks like a text file. |
i just looked in my mrj libaries folder and found the lime wire installer inside(10,8mb)-dont know how it get there (seems be the normal installer before decoding) you may have drag a copy of your installer in this folder if it doesnt work,.. sorry i dont know |
