Default Search issues

Upgraded from 3.8.6 to 3.8.7 Pro for Mac OS X 10.3.3 and now I can no longer get searches to work. There are outbound connections executing but my searches while appearing to work do not.

I am also getting a bug notification but no error message. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone solve it?

If this were common, LW would probably have fixed it. It looks like there is something very unusual with the system install on a few Macs that is causing the problem. They can't fix your system, but if they can find out where the incompatiblity is, maybe one of the open source coders can see a workaround.
