I Downloaded it, but I get an error when I try to connect!!!!

Hey all,

I downloaded Limewire for my Mac 0s 8.6 and it went fine, but now when I try to start thr program I get the little icon that shows up (Clock type display) then I get an error message that varies. Sometimes it says a error of type 10 occured and freezes up and I need to restart and sometimes I just get and unknown error occured and I should restart the computer. Any ideas of how to fix this so I finally get into the network???

This is an old post, so I don't know if you solved your problem. But keep in mind that LW runs on Java & Java has updated past what OS 8 & 9 can have. At least make sure you have the last Java update for OS 8.6. You could update to OS 9.2.2 & have the next Java version. Did you know G3's can run OSX (hard disk space permitting you could have a dual OS system startup)?
