LimeWire Help Mac

I'm new to my Ibook and wanting to download the limewire software. I have already downloaded the program at download.com with the heading limewire.dmg. When I click on it to open the file, it opens up as an excel file. How could I go about setting limewire up?

What version of Mac OS X or Mac OS 9 do you use? I hope this helps. I'm also posting this in your other topic.

Spearson, thank you for your reply. I will try it again with the disk copy idea. As for software version, it is OS 10.2.8
