Default cannot install on imac g3

I have used limewire (pro) for more than 2 years now on my imac G4 superdrive and wanted to install the programme on my wife's imac g3. Tried to download limewire basic 4.08; download starts, but the limewiremac.bin on the desktop is 'empty', when i double-click it, it tells me that it cannot install, the programme it needs is not available. Am i missing something?

You might need to download a copy of Stuffit Expander if you don't already have it. The program is a free download. I hope this solves your problem.

Thanks. Stuffit expander is installed (7.01). After downloading, double-clicking results in an empty (white) icon.

You will need to close your web browser for this to work. Since you have Stuffit Expander already installed, I want you to open it and go to the Edit menu and come down to Preferences, when the window comes up scroll down to the bottom and click Internet. You will see a button that says "Use Stuffit Expander for all available types" Click the button and click OK. Now I want you to drag the LimeWireMac.bin file to the box that says "Drag your files here" If you don't see one, go to the Window menu and come down to Drag Window. I hope this helps.
