Using MAC OS 9.0.
Went to your link but still can't download "Basic". There is no button or other way to select Limewire Basic but there is a select button to download Limewire Pro. Any ideas? Thanks . . . van

There is a way to download your version of LW Basic, all you got to do is scroll to the bottom of the page without the LW Basic button, look at my screen print below

Then all you have to do is click on the link that represents your O/S and save the LW installer file accordingly

HELP! LM Basic 4.0.10 version not working for me. Need the link for downloading LM Basic 4.0.8.bin. BTW MiHD.net not working.

it dont have 4.0.8 but if you click the link I got there in the above reply click I will not use limewire bla bla on the next page scroll down on the right it says older versions check that out one of them might work.

LimeWire have been informed of the problem with the download page at Lime Wire » Download Out-Of-Date Installers but seem to be slow to fix it. (only the buy pro button shows)

Birdy's link has in itself a link to a version you can download. I uploaded that version as an alternative to 4.0.10
The link works fine, but you need to follow the directions carefully. I may put in a gif to help.

We'll need some details about your system & connection devices; System details - help us to help you (click on blue link). Also tell us exactly what the problem is. If you go to connections window, do you see any connections at all or attempted connections or is the window blank?
