hey! umm im new to limewire and im trying to install it .. i have an old mac (iBook G4) and whenever i try to install the basic version of 4.14.10 it says that my computer is too old and needs another version (4.12.6) and asks me if i want to download it and i click "yes" but when i click yes it just brings me to the screen where i can download 4.14.10 again! id really appreciate anyones help in this matter! thanks so much!

Which OSX version do you have? If you have a version earlier than OSX 10.3.9 then you will need to install an earlier version of LW.

hey i'm new to this site too how do a install i limewire plz tell me !!!

just go to limewire on internet and go to downloads and follow the procedure very easy.you may have to shut off any firewalls on ur pc security first.

Or click on the limewire badge in my sig, it will direct you to the official limewire site...

during the instalation phase i get this message"12%(Loading HTML Engine). then it never finishes loading the program so as i can use the program......thoughts????amos

During installation? Sounds odd for Mac. In that case get one of the nightly builds here LimeWire cvs builds (4.13.4jum490) No installation necessary. Just drag & drop the program from the image file to wherever you desire.

When I tried to drag & drop the 4.13.4Jum20070802230000Pro nightly build I got this error when I tried to run the program....

One or more necessary files appear to be invalid. This is generally caused by corrupted installation. Please try downloading and installing Lime wire Again.
