Unhappy imac download of songs with limewire

When I download songs, sometimes I get an error messsage that says "isnt a sound file or not in supported format" Doesnt limewire download just the sound file when I click the audio format. How do I fix this problem? I've spent hours downloading just to have over HALF of them to receive the error message. Whats up? HELP!!
