Can't search for MP3s

I renewed my Limewire for Mac this morning, and now, when I search, I cannot get MP3's to come up. How can I fix this?

What do you mean "renewed"? Updated or repaid for a new Pro support period?

Sometimes if upgrading from LW Basic to LW Pro, it can be worth deleting the LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed. But you should make a note of all your settings first, and also back up your downloads.dat file from within the LW preferences folder. Deleting LW Preferences folder in OSX

I repaid my subscription, as well as updated to 4.18.3......When I search for a song, by title, or artist, I only get .wma or .au files.

Who did you pay for LW & how much did you pay? Do you have LW Pro, or did you pay for basic LW?

The only official site for downloading LW basic (free) or Pro is Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire. Payment will show as being to LimeWire LLC or LimeWire on your credit card statement.

The latest version of LW is 5.3.6.
4.18.3 was released in June, 2008 - so I have a feeling that you might've been scammed if you've just 'updated' to such an old version
