LW 2.6 update reads as 2.55 when installed

Limewire update 2.6 reads as Limewire 2.55 when I do a get info in the newly installed program. I deleted and reinstalled again with the same results. Am not having trouble using the program but this looks like I didn't get the update from the limewire site. And it definitely said update 2.6. Anybody else have this problem? Is it just an incorrect link on the Limewire site?
