Corrupt Mac OS 8.6

Hello,

I cannot seem to be able to install Limewire, for each time I try, after dowload, a message appears telling me this version is corrupt and to ask Limewire for a newer version!

Is there another way of getting the free version of Limewire for MacOS 8.6?

I'm also running OS 8.6 and didn't have a problem with it. I got mine straight from Limewire here -
