Hello Jack, You kindly replied to my problem about not being able to play Quicktime files. Sadly, iTunes doesn't open them either. As an experienced Lime Wire member, can I ask you, is there someting important that I'm not doing in my set-up? Or that I shouldn't do? Or specific site types eg: T3 that I shouldn't use? Nice to see you're in Scotland. I'm down in the West Midlands. |

Ah, r- u- a Brummy? There are files that u should not touch with a 10 foot barch pole. i.e. "The real thing" "Awesome" and "please share" these are spam crap. If u have them bin them. You can read more about them in some of the posts here. |

Yes Jack, some of the files I was trying to download did have'awesome' and 'please share' on them. I'll try again with some new files. (Why on earth do people circulate files like that?) I'll look at some of the mails on the subject. Oh, and 'no' I'm not a Brummie - I'm near Northants. Thanks Jack. Donough |
