People will not let me download I think this is because I am not sharing how do I select or bless a file for shared items

Look at your application. See the boxc to check for Sharing enabled? Have that enabled and then go to the preferences and tell it where the folder is of songs you wish to share. You might need to make a folder and put some songs in it, but tell the application where the folder is. That should work.
