![]() Snitch looks like it might solve the problem of unreadable files, but I haven't quite got it ssolved yet. I changed the file type and creator to the mpeg and tvod (quicktime) suffixes and the files now look like quicktime icons, but when I try to play the file, I get an error message that says the application program could not be opened because of an error type -39. Is there something else in Snitch that I have to do to make these audio files play? There are only about ten files like this now on my computer, but they were all from the last 24 hours, a bad trend. |

![]() I made a mistake, the files I editted were set for APPL (Quicktime) rather then MPEG (which is what they are right?), so, I went back and changed them to MPEG and voila they play fine now. Not only does this solve the unreadable file problem, but you can select any file and in Snitch, you can set the file to become a Quicktime (or any other kind of application) and when you click on the 2 update buttons, the selected files will open up just by clicking on them. You don't have to go thru several steps to play files anymore. Snitch is terrific!!! ![]() |
