Mactella crashes on certain files Hello. I've been using Mactella for some time and it's acceptable I find. However there is one problem. Sometimes the program crashes when I start download certain files. The crash always comes when I initiate the download and I can't find any specific pattern why. It can happen with any file/server/connection. There is no errormessage only a message from Finder saying the application quit unexpectedly. Does anyone experience the same problem? Is there some solution? My system: PPC 266 Mhz (beige minitower) MacOS 8.6 (Swedish) Ethernet-cable connection (built in) |
THe same happens to me! I have a G4 and I haven't been able to download ONE file! It crashes as it starts to download! G |
Your problem is even worse. I can usually download files, but sometimes the program just crashes without any warning. It's a bit scary, but I'm lucky compared to you. Usually the program also crashes when I try to quit. Either it won't quit at all or it will crash. Well, let's hope there will be an update soon. There seems to be a lot of bugs in this program. -- Tor |
