Can't Connect...

I can't connect to morpheus cuz of my proxy. It says in the help file the I should "force my ports a bit higher," but frankly, I don't know what the hell that means.

Any suggestions?

(B.T.W. Please give me a detailed explanation, talking about computers is like speaking chinese or something to me)
