Default Servers in port 80

Hi.
I'm behind a firewall ... could someone tell a node with incoming port 80 to connect to?

Thanks in advance

Rodrigo

You'd probably be more comfortable with the Gnucleus interface since it that is what Morpheus is based off of. http://www.gnucleus.net/

Anyway, if you stick with Morpheus, simply go into options and check "I am behind a firewall" and you should be set.

I think he has to change the port also... as I understand this is the only free port he has and Gnutella uses the port 6346!

You're right. This is my only free port and I'm not the administrator of my network.
Is there any node in port 80?

Hello!

No there is no node on Gnutella on port 80.Port 8080 is used for the Internet(Web).Gnutella is on Port 6346 and 6347 which is the ports that you have to enable in the FireWall in order for you to be on it.

You can change your port in your node... but the question is, does your firewall block the other ports in both ways? If so you wouldn´t be able to connect to other nodes which don´t use the port 80 either... if your firewall block only for outgoing traffic you shouldn´t have problems!

This is not right, the standard port is 6346 but you can choose every available port...

Hello!

Sorry for my post beeing a bit unclear. This is what I meant to say:

Yes you can change the port but my personal experience is that you will get less results when doing so and also other persons will have a difficult time getting a decent connection to you.

Yes the standard port is 6346 but the 6347 is the network port that listens for other hosts.
