Question web-based interface

Question:

I have no knowledge as to how all this gnutella business works, however I enjoy using it.

Is it possible to implement gnuc or some p2p service in a webpage? For instance, instead of downloading morpheus, you would go to morpheus.com and download straight through the website. Let me know if I sound like a total idiot.

Hi, kchek, i don't know if this is what you mean, but the Gnucleus team itself was thinking about a web interface.

If you run gnucleus on your computer 24/7, but have to go to work (or to school in my case )
you could go to http://your ip here and there you could check if gnucleus was still running fine, and maybe even give some orders.

Lightbulb Download From Internet

That's not exactly what I meant, but it's a nice tidbit of information, nonetheless.

I was wondering, would it be possible for someone to go to www.morpheus.com type in the name of the file they are looking for, and select that file right from the search results. This would eliminate any need to download software.

I'm not sure if this is even possible, or legal. Please reply.

like you can search for google?

It is not possible with the Gnutella network as it now is. Most clients block requests from browsers, so you always need a Gnutella client.
